Far-Flung Peoples – Fringe 2024

A bold and uproarious comedy-drama presented at the 2024 Toronto Fringe Festival, Far-Flung Peoples played from July 5 – 14, 2024 in the Alumnae Mainspace Theatre in Toronto.
Written and directed by Aylin (Oyan) Salahshoor, the play follows a group of refugee roommates navigating Toronto’s rent crisis and the absurdities of belonging, language, and survival in a cramped shared apartment. Multilingual humour, sharp political satire, and deeply human moments bring to life the joys and frustrations of diasporic life.
